Harissa Student Belly Dance Troupe
Harissa is a group of enthuiastic amateur dancers, all bitten by the belly dance bug. The group was started by Helena, award-winning dance artist and director of Orientale Dance Company, to give her students at all levels a chance to perform. The troupe is open to all, and members are all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of ability!
Harissa are available for charity fundraisers and not-for-profit community events. The troupe is an amateur group who perform for fun so there is no charge for performance, though travel expenses and/or a donation towards costuming and props for the troupe is always appreciated.
