Here is a list of Helena's most popular packages along with guide prices. Please contact Helena for a full quote or to tailor a bespoke performance or package. Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash, cheque or paypal and is required in advance.

Travel

Areas covered include Leeds, Bradford, York, Hull, Darlington, Durham, Liverpool, Manchester. May also consider bookings in London, Nottingham and Newcastle. International bookings accepted, please contact to discuss. Travel expenses outside of Leeds are not included and are charged at the standard business rate of 40 pence per mile. If you have booked more than one dancer they will usually travel together where possible.

Breaks

Breaks in between performances are always min 15 mins and max 45 mins unless otherwise stated. Extended breaks can be negotiated for an additonal fee.

 

Solo Performance

Extended performance
3 x sets of 3-4 songs (approx 10 mins) each. Min break 15 mins, max 50 mins
Ideal when you need performance sets spaced over an event or to fit between serving a meal.		 £150 - Leeds and surrounding area
£160 - if over 50 miles from Leeds		 40p per mile if outside Leeds
Corporate Event
Performance, taster sessions, meet and greet and more, tailor the perfect package for your corporate or press/PR event. Please contact for a quote. (Also see Orientale Dance Company shows) 		On application 40p per mile if outside Leeds
Weddings
Helena will work with you to create the perfect show for your day, including either an Arabic bridal procession (zeffa) plus show, or two shows. You can even pick costumes to match your colour scheme (subject to availability). 		£200 - Leeds and surrounding area

Wedding shows
Arabic style "zeffa" (bridal procession) including Egyptian style candelabra (shamadan) dance if liked, plus your choice of either Dreams of the Orient or Nights on the Nile show.
 £100 per dancer - Leeds and surrounding area
£150 per dancer - if over 50 miles from Leeds		 40p per mile if outside Leeds
Streets of Cairo
An earthy, folky performance with dancers in traditional dress and live drumming. Ideal for outdoor performances, festivals, schools and cultural days. Recommend min 2 dancers and 2 drummers or 3 dancers, 1 drummer.		 £100 per dancer - Leeds and surrounding area
£150 - if over 50 miles from Leeds
Drummer fee varies depending on availability. 		40p per mile if outside Leeds

Hen Parties

Hen Party Workshop - 1 hr 30 min workshop
Shimmy and undulate your way through the basics of belly dance in this fun hen party lesson. More about hen party workshops.
- If held at Arch Dance Studio, Leeds city centre: £100 for 5-8 participants, £125 for 8-15 participants, £150 for 15-22 participants.
- If held at other venues: please contact Helena for a quote.
- Add a hip scarf gift for the bride to keep as a momento for just £10, or order hip scarves for all at £8 per head.
Hen or Bachelorette/Dinner Party
Invite your friends round for a Middle Eastern cookery lesson, followed by a short belly dance taster. Fee depends on menu - contact Helena.
 

Talks, Tasters and School Workshops

A fascinating myth-busting talk about the history of belly dance followed by a fun belly dance taster. Finish it all off with a dance from Helena. Max session length 1 hr 30 mins. £60 community rate. More about talks and tasters .

School workshops
Helena can provide workshops on Egyptian dance tailored for primary school and secondary school students, perfect to tie in enrichment days or with topics on Ancient Egypt, cultural diversity and fitness. A single session of 1 hr to 1 hr 30 mins costs £60-80, a half day costs £100, a full day costs £200. Helena can also arrange cookery demos and lessons an drumming lessons.
